Bicycle Stand
The inspiration for this bicycle stand came from one that I saw on the Internet, but that was a fixed design and suitable for only one tire size. I wanted something adjustable so that it can be used for all of our bikes (road, gravel, and mountain).
The slotted holes allow one side of the stand to be moved to accomodate tire widths from 3/4 inch up to 2-1/4 inches. It’s just made from construction grade 2 x 4-inch (nominal) SPF and some basic hardware. The parts are joined together using #14 flat head wood screws. So far I’ve made six of them. They’re handy for storing the bikes upright and for doing simple maintenance when a bike repair stand isn’t available.
